Coronavirus Guidance – Important Information – Call 111 Do not come down to the surgery

Call 111 now if you've been: • to Wuhan or Hubei Province in China in the last 14 days (even if you do not have symptoms) • to other parts of China, including Macau and Hong Kong, in the last 14 days and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath (even if it's mild) • to Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Republic of Korea or Malaysia in the last 14 days and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath (even if it's mild) • in close contact with someone with confirmed coronavirus. Do not go to a GP surgery or hospital. Call 111, stay indoors and avoid close contact with other people. Tell 111 about any recent travel and any symptoms you have.

Important News – Rise in cases of Flu in Leeds – Get vaccinated now whilst stocks last

There has been a rise in cases of flu in Leeds therefore we recommend you and your family are vaccinated as soon as possible and whilst stocks last. Nasal vaccine is available for all 2-3 year old and those under 18 who are At Risk. Flu vaccinations are available for all eligible groups, if you are over 65 years or in an at risk group.

Shingles Vaccination –

If you are in your seventies you may be eligible to receive a free shingles vaccination under the national programme. We would recommend that all patient's in their 70s are vaccinated against shingles. Shingles and its complications can be difficult to treat and can lead to long term nerve pain.
