The future of antibiotics is in our hands.
There has been a rise in cases of flu in Leeds therefore we recommend you and your family are vaccinated as soon as possible and whilst stocks last. Nasal vaccine is available for all 2-3 year old and those under 18 who are At Risk. Flu vaccinations are available for all eligible groups, if you are over 65 years or in an at risk group.
If you are in your seventies you may be eligible to receive a free shingles vaccination under the national programme. We would recommend that all patient's in their 70s are vaccinated against shingles. Shingles and its complications can be difficult to treat and can lead to long term nerve pain.
We have made some changes to the how patients can order their prescriptions from 1st August 2019.
